ColdQR is a Grade 7 titanium SeedQR backup plate designed for durable, long-term Bitcoin seed storage.

It is engineered specifically for SeedQR workflows and provides a rugged physical backup option for Bitcoin users who want a more durable alternative to paper.

Each ColdQR plate is CNC-machined from 5.5 mm thick Grade 7 titanium with a 6 mm border, providing strong resistance to impact, corrosion and long-term environmental exposure.

ColdQR is available in two formats:

21 × 21 Compact SeedQR

• Designed for a 12-word seed
• Uses Compact SeedQR format

25 × 25 Standard / 24-Word

• Stores a 12-word seed as a standard QR
• Stores a 24-word seed as a Compact SeedQR

Compact SeedQR format is compatible with devices and tools including SeedSigner, Krux, Blockstream Jade, Foundation Passport, Coldcard Q and other SeedQR-compatible hardware.

Tamper-Evident Storage

Every ColdQR plate ships inside a custom 3D-printed storage container designed to help protect and monitor your physical backup.

• Designed for tamper-evident sealing with a zip tie or numbered security seal
• Fingerprint window allows visual identification of the SeedQR without opening the container
• Easy to label and store in a safe, lockbox or safety-deposit box
